The London School of English is the longest-established officially accredited
school in Britain.
Founded in 1912, we have unrivalled experience.
We are of medium size: small enough to provide a personal service, but large
enough to have excellent facilities and resources.
We have two campuses close to the heart of London, each offering a variety of courses
designed for serious adults. Our range of courses means that we can probably
offer whatever you are looking for. We offer General English, examination
preparation, English for Business and a number of other specialised programmes.
We are dedicated to providing the best possible service. Our clients are
demanding. You will come to us with very high expectations. Our aim is to be
even better than you expect.
We have excellent teachers, of course, but we know that a good school is
about much more than the course itself. We offer a full range of services
designed to make your experience with us useful, stimulating and fun from the
moment you start to plan until after you get home.

All of our training rooms are fitted with flat screens for teaching and project work. Students also have access to computers and language practice facilities as well as free wifi and free photocopying.
Both campuses have a restaurant or student lounge where students can have a hot lunch, or salads if they choose.

We believe that your learning does not stop when you leave the classroom and it is important to interact with other students and teachers socially as well as at school. We also understand that while you are with us you will want to experience London and make the most of your time in Britain's exciting capital. We therefore have an optional social activity available on most weeknights and we can arrange visits to other destinations in Britain over the weekend. During my two weeks at the London School I had a fantastic time which I will probably never forget. Where do you have the opportunity to learn English with other students from all over the world, to make new friends from other countries and continents? We were sitting all in the same boat, we all wanted to learn English. We spent a lot of time in- and outside the school and it was really great. The London School is excellent for this. The language trip was very well organised from A to Z and the employees of the school stood to us any time helpfully aside. The teachers were excellent, with excellent teaching methods. Also the One-to-one units in the afternoon were very helpful for me. All in all, it was a fantastic time at the London School and I can recommend it very much, any time again!

"I enjoyed my stay at the London School of English (LSE) and feel that my objectives were fully achieved. There are lots of aspects which are really done well. The diversified teaching methods, the competent and friendly trainers, and the great support and help regarding other services. I have especially appreciated the great help concerning arranging an internship. By offering general English as well as Business English courses, the LSE covers a wide range of language courses. Ist special strength is in improving your communication skills in various ways: discussion, meetings, presentations and so on. I would recommend the school to everyone who wants to polish his/her language ability in both counts - the business and general English skills. Thanks for all LSE."
